SKOV offers a wide variety of air inlets, meaning that no matter the location of your livestock house and we have an air inlet suited to your needs.
Depending on the age and requirements of the animals, the right amount of air must enter the house in an optimum direction and at the right height and velocity.
At low outdoor temperatures, the negative pressure causes cold air to be sucked into the livestock house. The air must not reach the animals in the livestock house without it being mixed with the housing air first.
It is essential to remove the excess heat from the animals at high outside temperatures and create air movement around them to provide a cooling effect.
The wall inlets provide a good uniform climate all over the house, even at minimum ventilation. The outside air is directed toward the ceiling of the house and mixed with the existing air before it reaches the zone occupied by animals. This method does not cause any draught and thus leads to uniform distribution of animals and thereby the same growth conditions for all.
During hot periods, a higher air velocity can provide a cooling effect for the animals.
DA 1200 bricked-in wall inlet is suitable for concrete and brick houses and available for various wall thicknesses. The inlets require no additional support in connection with bricking in or fixing inlets in walls.

The wall inlets provide a good uniform climate all over the house, even at minimum ventilation. DA 1211/1911

DA 3800 is a high-capacity wall inlet that combines correct minimum ventilation during cold periods with high performance and a good chill effect during hot periods.
The DA 3800, with Advanced Flow Control (optional without), maintains excellent pressure stability at all ventilation ranges. The air intake is less affected by external wind action, and the inlet provides the correct air volume and airflow without creating a draught among the animals.
Advanced Inlet Control opens the inlet during cold periods, which results in fewer but stronger air currents reaching the center of the livestock house.

DA 3800

This unit recirculates the air in the house to provide an optimum air velocity and air distribution in poultry houses. The DA 65-600 chill unit is used in an LPV or a Combi-Tunnel system operating in side mode.
The DA 65-600 chill unit is used at high outside temperatures when the animals need to be cooled by the cooling effect of the air velocity. The 65-600 chill unit provides an increased air velocity in the animal zone and a better air distribution in the entire house.
The fan thus creates a pleasant climate and contributes to healthy and productive animals. You can prevent heat stress, and productivity is maintained using the recirculation fans.
The DA 65-600 chill unit is customized for the harsh house environment.

The DA 1540 ceiling inlet is an efficient, compact inlet for attic constructions that directs fresh air into the livestock house through the attic space. The ceiling inlet design ensures optimum regulation of air volume, air velocity, and air direction relative to the temperature and layout of the house.
The velocity of the required incoming air volume is low during cold periods
During hot periods with high ventilation requirements, the inlets can be fully opened, directing the air to where the animals are.
DA 1540 is available as a chill inlet, which is a ceiling inlet used in connection with the LPV-Plus system from SKOV. The ceiling inlet is designed to create maximum air velocity during hot periods.

The DA 1800 ceiling inlet is an efficient, compact, supplementary inlet that directs fresh air into the livestock house during hot periods. The inlet is most often used in connection with Combi-Diffuse ventilation.
During cold periods, the required air volume enters through the diffuse ceiling.
During hot periods with high ventilation requirements, the DA 1800 inlets can be fully opened, directing the air to where the animals are.

DA 1800 ceiling inlet
DA 60-820 roof inlet
DA 60-820 is an air intake that combines high output with low airspeed in the animal zone.
High output is created without using a fan. The output is regulated steplessly via a parallel motion system that ensures a uniform opening of the unit and uniform distribution of the air throughout the house.
When installing an air-in fan, you can use the DA 60-820 for equal-pressure systems.
The DA 60-820 is equipped with a recirculation fan that ensures the required air-jet range, even though the amount of inbound air is reduced.

DA 40 equal pressure unit
DA 40A equal pressure units with twelve individually adjustable nozzles and air mixers conduct a perfect air distribution in the livestock house. Also in livestock houses that are generally difficult to ventilate due to the house layout.
The air mixer ensures that the cold incoming air is mixed and carried by warm air inside the house.
The air intake unit has a swivel shutter to correct the incoming air volume and optimum system pressure adjustment.

DA 10K/17K tunnel inlet
The DA 10K and DA 17K tunnel inlets serve as air inlets in houses with Tunnel ventilation.
The tunnel inlets are well suited for light wall construction buildings as you can mount the inlets on an interior wall with screws through the flange.
The inlets are available both with highly insulated and semi-insulated inlet flaps. The inlet closes tightly and will resist heavy gusts of wind. In addition, the inlet has the advantage that the adjustable flaps can precisely control the inbound air jet.
The opening angle of the inlet is only 37cm when fully open, which makes the inlet particularly suitable for livestock houses with production in cage systems. In such livestock houses, there usually is only a little space for opening the inlet.
It is also possible to mount DA 17K on the outside of the house. The advantage of mounting the inlet outside is that there are no inlet components in the livestock house that can cause a nuisance to other equipment or during cleaning.

The rack and pinion tunnel door serves as an air inlet in houses with Tunnel or Combi-Tunnel ventilation.
Rack and pinion is an insulated and sealed door for sandwich panel thicknesses ranging from 25 to 50mm.
The system is extremely robust! All racks, brackets, and supports are made of galvanized steel. The aluminum frame around the panel has a built-in rubber sealing that withstands high-pressure cleaning.

Rack and pinion tunnel door
A tunnel door light inlet from SKOV serves as an air inlet in houses with Tunnel or Combi-Tunnel ventilation.
The system is a complete solution for making a properly sealed door into the house.
The tunnel door light is suited for light wall construction buildings.
The inbound air will be distributed upward with a relatively high air velocity at maximum ventilation, and the return air will ventilate the area below the door.
